General
  1. The rulebook for each season remains unchanged from the previous season unless otherwise stated.
  2. Rule changes can only be made before the draft or after the end of the season. Rules must achieve a majority vote. Rule changes will usually occur during the Owners Meeting but can occur online if all owners have sufficient time to review the rule and vote accordingly. Quorum for voting is 2/3 of the owners. Remote votes accepted as part of quorum.
  3. The league adheres to Fair Play and Conduct. The below activities are prohibited:
    1. Collusive Transactions
      1. Collusion occurs when one team makes moves to benefit another team, without trying to improve its own position.
      2. Prohibited transactions include but are not limited to:
        1. One-sided trades.
        2. Dropping a player so another team can pick up that player.
        3. Bench sharing or trading players with the intent to trade back.
        4. Real world cash or favors for trades.
    2. Impeding Other Team Managers
      1. Eliminated playoff/TB teams cannot add/drop players from waivers.
      2. Teams cannot suggest team A pickup players on the waivers to prevent team B from filling their roster.
    3. Roster Dumping
      1. Team managers may not dump their players to the player pool to undermine the league.
      2. If you are giving up on the season, you must maintain league strength by providing the other team managers with the most competitive team you can field.
    4. Intentional Unnecessary Player Benching
      1. A team may not bench players even if doing so indirectly helps their team by giving their immediate opponent a victory.
      2. A team may elect to not start a player if their primary player is on a bye week and they wish to avoid dropping any on their bench.
  4. Players may remind other players, regardless of current matchup, to set their lineups.
  5. Violations of Fair Play and Conduct are the commissioner’s discretion who must deem the evidence “significant and damning.” If so determined, the commissioner will put the matter to a vote of all team owners besides the commissioner and the parties involved in the trade. The vote will be to acquit or convict with at least 51% majority vote.
    1. If acquitted, the trade stands.
    2. If convicted, the commissioner will reverse the trade and propose a punishment for collusive activities. Punishments include, but are not limited to, picking at the end of round(s), forfeiture of pick(s), loss of future draft picks, loss of a player to waivers, or expulsion from the league. Punishments will be voted on by all teams except the commissioner and the involved parties. Majority rule on punishment will be 51% where the commissioner will continue to offer punishment ideas until approval by the majority of owners.
  6. If a trade is left open and a player involved in the trade is hurt, and an owner accepts the trade, the trade stands.
  7. Commissioner determines how and when the draft order is assigned in a fair way of skill or luck. Commissioner will not manually assign the order.
  8. Commissioner is an elected position that any owner may run for.
  9. Commissioner Election to occur on Sunday of Week 18 either virtually or in person.
  10. Newly elected commissioner plans their inauguration day after the season where they drink for free.

    2. During this day we will have a ring ceremony.

On the Ballot for 2025

  1. Bottom of the Barrel:
    • The Stakes: Members of the Bottom of the Barrel (the worst division by wins, then points) will each be responsible for buying a pitcher of beer at the next league happy hour. If a member can’t attend, they’ll Venmo their contribution to a fellow division mate who can.
    • Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie, the division with the lowest total points scored will be the Bottom of the Barrel.
  2. IR is for All
    • Allow Out players on IR.
    • Allow Suspended players on IR.
    • All COVID players on IR.
    • All NA players on IR.
    • Allow DNR / holdout players on IR.
    • Allow Doubtful players on IR.
  3. Lowest Points Paylay
    • The GM who scores the lowest points each week enter a $10 parlay where 12 legs are submitted by each member of the league. If it wins, all league mates who participated in that week’s parlay receive an even split of the winnings.
  4. Removal of all positional limits.
    • These limits were voted on ahead of the 2021 season when we believed we had a 16-man league with 1 RB slot. Our 2020 season of 12-men had no positional limits.
  5. Defensive Scoring:
    • Remove all points except:
      • TFL (.25 pts)
      • Sacks (.25 pts)
      • Fumble Recovery (2 pts)
      • Interception (2 pts)
      • 4th down stop (2 pts)
      • 3 and Out (1 pt)
      • Blocked kick (2 pts)
    • ESPNish Defensive Scoring:
      • Force Fumble: 0 (this reduces the total points for a forced fumble (1) + fumble recovery (2) from 3 to 2)
      • 550+ yard allowed -7
      • 500-449 yards allowed -6
      • 450-499 yards allowed: -5
      • 400-449 yards allowed: -3
      • 350-399 yard allowed: -1
    • Remove Defenses
    • Keep rules the same
  6. QB Scoring
    • Interceptions worth -2
  7. High Points Nicknames
    • High points for the week gets to make a nickname for one player of that week’s lowest points team. The only way to drop the nickname is to drop (or trade) the player. Nicknames remain year over year (as is the Sleeper default) until player is actively dropped or traded. High points is allowed to override a previous nickname.
  8. FAAB
    • To match the buy-in. Example: if buy-in is $150, then faab is $150.
  9. Remove Kickers
  10. Divisions

    • Divisions drafted on draft night (snake draft) by the top 3 draft positions (typically the top three Combine performers).
    • This division draft takes place on draft night BEFORE the actual draft.
    • Remove divisions.
