Living in the Moment
Once again, I hold season high points.
We will finish as the only team to eclipse 1900 points.
We’ve set a new league record for scoring in a single season.
We landed on the easier side of the playoff bracket (the one without the Super Team, thanks Trey!)
And we watch the practice reports for a returning Mike Evans (thanks Collin!)
Looking Back
Let’s look back at some of my favorite messages along the way:
1. Collin declared immediately after the draft that I would eventually have high points:
2. Andrew claimed he’s “Open to offers (except from Zis)” then immediately traded me.
3. John, who would find himself in the Toilet Bowl, proved (yet again) he doesn’t know ball by implying my team sucks:
4. Chris mouthed by WR room and went 0-2 against our team. (We are now 7-2 against him all time):
5. Connor nicknamed all his players after me then continued his defeated (0-4) record against me the past two years.
6. Travis predicted I’d lose our week 9 matchup. I would go on to win weekly high points the only time this season.
7. Sam sent me a Zertificate of his own, and now finds himself in the toilet bracket:
8.Spencer suggested a CMC or Olave injury was inevitable then immediately suffered a Drake London concussion.
9. Matt suggested Rice would have a lights out game against me. Rice scored 38 scrimmage yards that week.
10. Trey had our favorite waiver wire transaction of the year when he bid $19 for Musgrave on a Saturday morning, then dropped Musgrave later that day. He would go on to call me a testicle because that man can’t help think about my zmen.
11. Jordan compared my team to the All-2021 team which would have been the year I had Cooper Kupp and the best team in Fantasy history
Looking Forward
I look forward to all the payouts that I’ll probably have to remind our commissioner to complete.
I look forward to 3 previous Toilet Bowl Champs (Chris, Trey, Matt) flushing it out on their side of the bracket just to play me in the finals.
I look forward to my first ring after another extraordinary year.
And, most of all, I look forward to counting on YOUR vote this election season.
