If you’re reading this, Trey has once again fallen short of fantasy accomplishment. Despite FOUR of his starters hitting season highs, he couldn’t shake his addiction of starting Jaylen Warren. Trey’s refusal to upgrade that position throughout the season was ultimately his downfall.
However, ball-knowers aren’t surprised to see his team come up short. While he mocked some for picking RBs high on draft night, one manager quietly stockpiled: Archane (RB6), Hubbard (RB11), Cook (RB13), and Swift (RB19), riding those horses to season-high points. This same manager may have also completed the sneaky move of the year by adding McCormick at 11:58 AM on the Sunday of week 14. Although this manager will never need to start McCormick, they take pleasure in knowing that their new acquisition outscored Warren in the most crucial week of the year so far.
Rest easy knowing that the $150 won’t be spent frivolously on a limited-time Kith release and will instead be put towards the education fund of two little girls.
To my fellow league-mates, rejoice. Trey al-Assad has been overthrown.
