Week 2 Newsletter
As divisional matchups continued in Week 2, we see early playoff favorites emerging. Lamb’s The Show, Gilmore’s Take Me Higher, and Kennedy’s Adoption Agency have risen to the top. Last season at this time, we assessed team brands. In true tradition, we revisit those brands to see who’s leveled up and who’s lagged behind.

B Tier: Meets Expectations

- Name matches his starting QB, and the logo ties in nicely.
- Loses synergy points for featuring two people in his logo.
- Likely to rename the team after Baker’s regression.
Matt, Median Men

- Name fitting his mid-tier brand ranking.
- Strong belief in a “2-win system” incorporated into the brand.
- Points for leveraging AI in his creative design.
C Tier: Below Average
John, Can You Take me Higher?

- Gains points for logo-name cohesion with Cowboys jersey to support his starting QB.
- Name is too long.
- Missed the chance to draft Cousins—the Creed-loving NFL player.
F Tier: Needs Improvement
Spencer, Brockcember

- Team named after a player not on his roster.
- Name based on a single month, lacking dynasty relevance or longevity.
- Outdated logo despite career in Creative.
A Week 2 Recap
- Lamb goes hard in the paint, outscoring Cotton and Green combined. His all play standing soars to 21-1.
- Bosch loses his top two picks to IR.
- Gilmore snags Jordan Mason for $1, beginning his Coach of the Year campaign
- O’Neil, not to be outdone, grabs Kareem Hunt for $0, before the Chiefs formally sign him.
- Kennedy spends $8 on Mattison who could have been grabbed for free the day prior. His bench scores a combined 8.1 points.
- Norton and Zisman trade Chiefs receivers
