Dads vs. Lads

We hypothesize that those without children have more time to focus on fantasy football and, therefore, perform better. Let’s dive into those numbers to see which group was better in the 2024 season.

Wins

The Dads: 46 wins

  1. Connor Lamb (6W)
  2. Jordan Bosch (9W)
  3. Matt O’Neil (6W)
  4. Sam Arends (7W)
  5. Spencer Mobley (9W)
  6. Trey Kennedy (9W)

The Lads: 35 wins

  1. Andrew Norton (4W)
  2. Chris Wahrman (3W)
  3. Collin Green (8W)
  4. John Gilmore (8W)
  5. Ryan Zisman (8W)
  6. Travis Cotton (4W)

Points

The Dads: 11,077.58 pts

  1. Connor Lamb (1,763.06 pts)
  2. Jordan Bosch (1,819.78 pts)
  3. Matt O’Neil (1,776.72 pts)
  4. Sam Arends (1,877.12 pts)
  5. Spencer Mobley (1,924.92 pts)
  6. Trey Kennedy (1,915.98 pts)

The Lads: 10,814.64 pts

  1. Andrew Norton (1,903.82 pts)
  2. Chris Wahrman (1,757.18 pts)
  3. Collin Green (1,809.90 pts)
  4. John Gilmore (1,809.30 pts)
  5. Ryan Zisman (1,916.38 pts)
  6. Travis Cotton (1,618.06 pts)

Playoff Appearances:

  1. The Dads: 3
  2. The Lads: 3

Points Per Child:

  1. The Dads: 1,384 pts (8 children)
  2. The Lads: Infinite pts (no children)

While The Dads had demonstrably more wins and points, The Lads had infinitely more points per child. Therefore, our hypothesis was correct, and victory this year goes to The Lads.
